Gosh I love her style *.*
I started wearing hijab too and I'm really proud of it. At first I was terrified too especially about my school, classmates and everybody else.
In the end everything turned out well, thanks to my friends who even complimented me about my style (they're all christians and catholics). My classmates and professors encouraged me the last year, everybody's been so nice to me. Of course I heard bad comments but they were from a few people so I didn't really care.

ok so answer this .
1)If equality is part of islam then why cant women in Saudi Arabia obtain a driving license?
2)Why do they choose too wear hijabs (which im sorry for saying - but true) , especially in the western world where it only encourages more hate and alienation.8/10 people complain or spark conversation about them whenever someone wearing one passes .
3)If you dont have too wear it(i believe this is true)why do you wear it?
4)Why put yourself through this when heaven isnt real? :P

last statement meant,"skimpy"clothing....
Is this covering, a show of royalty to her chosen husband?
Showing that she honors him and Him ONLY?
I really like the Honor you give to your future or present husband.
God Bless.

Not at all timestandingstill, Hijab (scarf) is not about royalty/honor of women to their future husbands. It is an act of worship to God, fulfilling his commands.
Woman and Man are equal in Islam, both are obliged to dress modestly, both are abiding by Allah's laws, and there is not superiority of men over women, or vice versa.
I know of many women, whose husbands ask them to remove their scarf. When this happens, husbands don't have the authority or the right to be obeyed for such a request.

No disrespect intended, but if you read more about the womans head being covered, in 1 Cor. - 14Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?
15But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.
16But if any man seem to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither the churches of God."
Doesn't it mean she should not shave her head??

First, I acknowledge that I'm not knowledgeable enough about the Bible or the Old Testament, and I see no disrespect in this.
Second, I don't believe that the quote I mentioned recommends shaving head. What I understood is that the mention of shaving was meant as a deterrent from showing woman's hair.
Third, I agree that woman's hair is the crown of her beauty. The difference is that I see this is a pearl that she should protect, and save for her husband, rather than show it to everybody.
