It sounds much better on the cello than on the squeeky highnotes violin.Is it transposed two octaves lower by any chance ? Thanks so much for uploading.I have no luck on the violin.Maybe the cello works better for me !

I don't believe the timing at that section was because he wasn't able to hit the note on time, its quite common to take a little bit of time to emphasize a certain note or string of notes based on the musician's "feel" of the flow of the music
