Remembering Thomas Shay

Thomas Shay
February 19, 1924 - June 10, 2011

On July 29, 2008, Gerrit Blauvelt interviewed Thomas Shay for an oral history as part of the World War II Oral History Project. This project is part of the larger oral history collection of the Samuel Proctor Oral History Program at the University of Florida.
The full-length 98-minute video interview documented the life of Mr. Shay, particularly his WW II service in the Navy. This version consists of excepts from that interview. Thomas Shay passed away June 10, 2011.
