The last track of disc 2 is the theme of the crazy-ass warmonger Vindel Mauser and his Soulgain/Vaisaga crosshax, the Zweizergain from SRW Original Generations and Advance Portable.

You know you're in trouble when you fight a machine that can make millions of copies of itself out of thin air is gunning for you, after all.

  • Ah, Vindel was a great villain. Iredeemable and crazy as hell, but just sane enough to be incredibly dangerous. Good villains are ones you seriously enjoy finally taking down.

  • "Now DIE!!! So my ideals CAN LIVE!!!!"

Once I got him to say

    "What?! You pierced my armor?!"

After he got drilled by the Kurogane...if you know what I mean

  • @DanielFilipeSCouto The only secret I looked up was beating the inspectors on stage 15. The items were so worth it. I didn't get them on my 1st playthrough. I got the extra stage without cheats. I think the hardest time I had with Wodan was trying to defeat him one on one with Sanger. And I've had my fair share of Double Image annoyances. I was glad I never had to fight Shu in OG2. He was a bitch in OG1.

  • @KetsuRosataMalnor Sorry, but about the double image thing. He has more than what, 400K HP and Energy Regeneration, as well as HP Regen. Not to mention he has a super strong MAP weapon and he can take out most of your fully-upgraded units in one hit with Kirin Ne Plus. That's why I say it's my biggest enemy. I mean, imagine missing a Valor powered Rampage Ghost and a Valor Powered Tornado Blade because of Double Image. It would piss me off a lot XD

  • @KetsuRosataMalnor Haha... I didn't start grinding until my 5th playthrough or something. I only got the extra stage with cheats once, and i've never tried it again. The 1st Wodan, on my first playthrough, I somehow managed. But, after that, i NEVER passed it again by normal means, which pissed me off a lot. (You can just skip turns and he'll retreat). I personally never looked for a game guide excluding to check out the secrets.

  • @DanielFilipeSCouto I actually beat the game without doing the game over grind. It's only really hard if try to get the extra stage ending. The 1st Wodan Battle is ridiculous. I did beat it though my first playthrough. The first playthrough is always the hardest in my opinion, cause you don't know what to expect unless you look up a guide, but then I feel that sucks the fun out of it. I used alot of my more mobile mechs to take Wodan down. What's really hard is getting the battle mastery.

  • @KetsuRosataMalnor Well, I would like a better Cybuster in future games, like, a Cybuster that would get its mobility higher than anyone else if fully upgraded. That would be cool.

For grinding up, I constantly kept losing on the first time you see the Stone Circle (if you take Kyosuke's path everytime). Since there's A LOT of Einsts in the beggining, I would send someone there alone to take care of all of them (mostly Kyosuke).

And I kept dying VS Wodan the 1st Time :I

  • @DanielFilipeSCouto Yeah I fully upgraded the Cybuster and gave it high mobility plus double image. Nothing could touch it when I was done. Dygenguard and Aussenseiter I really only used for their team attack. The Alteisen Riese I did something more evil with then double image. I gave it the battle items and parts from beating the inspectors on Stage 15.

  • @KetsuRosataMalnor Cybuster? I would've betted it more on the Alteisen Riese or Dygenguard.

Unfortunately, Cybuster doesn't live up to its name in SRTOG/SRTOG2.

I mean, they praise it so much for being the fastest mech out there, the lord of the wind, and its evasion is worse than a giant heavy Alteisen Riese. Seriously, it's a bit WTF. It's one of my key players, but it's not THAT important for me.

Once again, unfortunately. Cause Cosmo Nova pawns.

  • @D461Sage You better pierce through the heavens with that drill or you'll do Gurren Lagann and Daitetsu a great disappointment.

  • @DonutsNeedSprinkles Awesome text is awesome.

  • @DanielFilipeSCouto Yeah, but since you can use it as well it's fair play. I made the God of the Wind, Cybuster, more so by giving it a part that put Double Image on it. Cybuster + Double Image= God of the Dodge Cybuster.
