Yes, after his R&B days he converted to Gospel & he was the lead singer of The Zion Travelers.. He had some involvement with the group until his last days but he was the founder of a new group called Free Spirit International..

@misslittlemomma well a lot of other people agree with you! It's pretty well revered amongst people who collect and play 60s soul, understandably. I've heard he was in a group called the Zion Travellers at one point, do you know if that's true?
