I think it is very naive to compare a meth cook to car production. The cook knows that no good will come from what he is producing, he knows that what he makes will cause many people to die: addicts, dealers, and also in some cases innocent bystanders. Yes the problem is demand as well but to say it is just demand is very naive.

it's not the cook, it's the user. auto accidents ruin people's live, let's stop driving. the war on drugs is a giant sham. prohibition is the root of many problems with drugs. on the other hand, the hypocrisy of it all, meth is schedule 2 along with cocaine, while mushrooms, and cannabis is schedule 1. i strayed a little bit there. my point is, the cook is just a cook. it's demand and the root of supply that is the evil culprit. and this stems from prohibition.

@reatonate1989 I understand your point. It is a very good way to look at it and I hope a-lot more people see or come to see this as you do. I wish i could say the same but in the end I have to be honest with myself. I guess it's one of the "cold spots" my wife talks about lol. Neways thanks for the reply:) be well.

I'm sorry to hear that you got hooked. But i guess thats where we differ in that I could not feel content knowing I've made many lives worse (such as someone made your life worse off in the past doing just that) just to make a few family members better off.
Yes being poor is shitty, but is it acceptable to get your riches in a way that makes so many more people poor and messed up?
-
@reatonate1989 Oh and I HAVE been a drug addict as a teenager. I know what meth can do to a person. I've seen and lived it. But I would still make it for alot of money.

@reatonate1989 Sure it's wrong but it is also a reflection of the type of world we live in. If you were handed hunreds of thousands of dollars and all you had to do was cook meth every other weekend would you say no? I wouldn't because like the main character Walt I care about my family's financial security a hell of alot more then some drug addict I never met.
But that is also a reflection of my experiences in life. Being poor is a shitty way to live.
I was kinda expecting "hmmm whatcha say...."
