Bonnie, with all due respect, you didn't read my comment. This pony didn't have rabies. Yes, the disease is prevalent in India, but the head of the animal wasn't collected by public health and she wasn't showing any symptoms. One person who was allegedly attacked by the mare didn't go to the hospital. Does that sound like rabies to you?

Dunblobbon obviously understands the language, why dont you people believe him, this idea that the horse is retaliating is ridiculous. This horse had rabies. 35,000 people die of rabies in Inda every year due to animal bites, dogs, horses, monkeys.

Try to do a little research before taking the side of a disease crazed animal.

The original story stated that the chestnut mare had rabies from a dog bite. She isn't showing any symptoms of the furious stage of the disease. Allegedly, several people were attacked.  One did not go to the hospital and the head was not collected by public health officials when the mare expired later from exhaustion.
