When Kassian initiated the hit, Kennedy did have the puck. It still wasn't a clean hit, but to say that Kennedy was unsuspecting and didn't have the puck is ignorant. Maybe he should keep his fucking head up. Anytime you're skating through center ice with your head down, you should be expecting a hit, and taking that away would castrate hockey.
