  • @cutecherrychick Sorry for the long winded reply but PETA also does a lot of lieing and flat out makes stuff up. If they just worked to save neglected animals or something I could respect them but they lose all credibility when they lie to their members about how animals are treated, in order to enrage them, and promote such ridiculous notions as animals never being kept as pets, ever. Even domesticated animals that are adapted to live perfectly around humans and be happy.

  • @cutecherrychick I certainly don't endorse lieing to prevent the killing of animals though. Lieing never gets your anywhere. For instance if you lie to indigenous people who are hunting their own animals on their own land for easy money, and tell them they're endangered and they have to stop, and you actually convince them, but then they find out from a reputable source that they are indeed, not endangered, they will resume hunting them and never listen to you again.

  • @cutecherrychick I love furry little animals as much as the next person, and I could never bring myself to kill one, can't even kill mice in my house, have to use a have a heart trap and release them into the wild. and I think in our modern day and age with plant derived and synthetic fabrics that there is no need to kill animals for fur(some animals are killed for meat and the skin is a byproduct) . However I don't have the drive like some people do to go get in other people's faces about it.

  • @hzuiel it doesn't really matter if they're not almost extinct, @pendragon418 is right, we need stop people from killing chinchillas.

  • @pendragon418 They are not almost extinct......

  • it ate the hat O.O
