  • local eh? which part of world do you live in? what amazing looking birds..

  • @sean6201 Australia

  • I almost shat my pants the first time I encounterd a hummingbird in the wild.

I thought it was some freakin huge flying cockroach flitting by!! I was about to smack it away! In Sweden it's only flying insects that make a noise that resembles a hummingbird.

  • lol

The first time i heard a flock of Cockatoos over head i thought the world was coming to an end

  • Hey jt: very nice video, sweet little creatures, and their colors are GORGEOUS!! There's a "Nature" documentary: "The Birds of Oz", and you have these little guys right in your back yard!! Yikes!! Yeah: nice break from the "weirdness"!! LOL! Thanks for this one!!

  • Thanks. Yeah i get these birds on our back deck all the time. Lots of other birds too. Cockatoos & King Parrots. It's really nice. Yeah my videos were getting too weird. I needed a weird break. That just means i will probably be more mental in a week or two from now

lol those birds fly there around? lovebirds are from australia to right? do you see them fly around? thats friggin cool:D

  • i live in a 3rd story apartment, these guys love to sit in vast numbers on my window sills and shreek whilst my cat jumps from one closed window to the next trying to get at one, or she just sits there chittering in frustration,

these lorikeets are smart they know it drives her crazy to see them there and they know she can't get to them either so they have enormous fun at my poor cats expense, they are beautiful, though.

  • @coyotx of course you can i even have one!

  • They Are Also In Australia Most Of Them Live In Merimbula NSW When I Went To Merimbula I Had Green Melon In My Hand Then They Were Coming In Threes I Probably Had Like !0 Birds On My Hand!!

  • سبحان الله ناس عندها ببغانات تتطير بالجو وناس عندها غربان وحمام

  • We have em here in Australia too! They're always in our trees! ^^

  • They have them wild all over florida

  • @BigmouthAussie I don't know if seed/bread is harmful to them but in the wild they eat fruit and nectar. Unlike most parrots they have a brush-like tongue - this is true for all lories and lorikeets. Pet stores sell special food for lories.
