  • Should have used LINUX (or a Mac) :)

  • when your getting bleedover and your talking to someone with a good strong signal, turn the rf gain down to reduce there signal so it still sound good and then you will also reduce bleedover and other interference..

I think rf gain is a key feature on most transceivers....

  • Thanks for the explanation. That sure wasn't covered in the manual for my Yaesu HF radios.

  • That's the new owner of Vibroplex!

  • were can u buy a RF gain switch if thats wat its called and if there is one sorry im kinda new on this and i do have a cobra ultra 3 cb radio in my car and have problems tuning it due to signal or prolly me tuning it idk but i just want to kno were can u get a RF gain switch?

  • thats always been the way that i have always used it. Some of my contacts mind have argued my signal level strengh i have recived them on because of the rf gain. they say keep it all the way up to gain a true reading of there signal i am reciving. which i find silly yet rf gain is an amazing feature to have on your radio i personally buy my rigs with the gain controll so i can clean up chanel noise
