Real hackers do want to know how things work. That's the whole point of hacking. To learn how it works. Also, to make it do something different.

If you have a specific goal in mind. Say, hacking into someones bank account. Well, you have to know how the bank system works to be able exploit it. So hacking is fundamentally about learning how things work.

You could "hack" its firmware to a custom revision

You know about Germany using fifths columns to infiltrate and systematic murder to suppres any opposition against Germany in other countries. The aim still is German world domination. My homepages gives a few informations about the techniques being used today by German officials and snitchers. They are no fighting open battles because Germany failed twice. Today its more like poisoning your coffee if you dont collaborate with them.
