I remember Rue performed a production of nunsense with Nell Carter and it aired on A&E during their "Breakfast with the Arts" programming.

This is an amazing musical, I have seen it performed live many times. Unfortunately Rue McClanahan ruins the Reverend Mother role. I have enjoyed every community theatre Reverend Mother 10 times better than Rue McClanahan. I enjoyed Rue in most television roles, but she just doesn't do very well in the Nunsense role.
