  • Question for you Coach Broz. This awesome lift here reminded me of how when I clean I often jump back a bit, or at least I land a bit behind where I started, as Josh does here. Not criticizing the lift at all, just curious if you think that's fine or something to work on? Thanks!

  • @konelreborn totally ok.

  • Coach, by any chance, do you know where I can purchase .25kg-2.0kg plates that aren't so expensive?

  • @snatch147at85 The small plates are pricey just about everywhere. if you don't need many, you might find a deal on 1.25 and 2.5kg plates and then drill holes in them. just an idea to save $.

  • Coach Broz, I have to thank you. I went from struggling with a 400lb ATG olympic squat just a few months ago to having done 450 or more each day over the past four days. I'm within 10kg of a 500lb ATG olympic squat which will tie my best low bar powerlifting squat. I feel strongly that I will get this before the year ends. I looked at my training log and just sat there stunned at the progress. I can't imagine how much better a lifter would do under your direct tutelage . WOW. Thanks again.

  • @tombennettpiano glad you are making progress. look forward to seeing the 500 vid

  • Coach Broz how do you recommend breathing on C&J? What about squats?

  • now he is snatching this barely 2-3 months later

  • Coach broz I was curious if you cue lifters to "crash the bar" off the hips to help get extension and pull under the bar

  • @BROZKNOWS From a biomechanical perspective, do you think energy is lost with a jump back: i.e. you want the force on the bar to be upward so you can get it as high as possible; when you jump backwards, there's a component of force in that direction so not everything can be put into the correct movement.

Does this apply to lifting like it does other sports?

  • this is so crazy.. my max is 110 and im 77kg lol

  • are you going to put up a clean tutorial anytime soon? im 16 and my body weight is 185, my max full clean is only 245 and my max hang clean is 270, i really want to hang clean 300 by my senior year so i can get my schools clean record, any tips?? thanks in advance
