Turtle release on Gili paradise islands

On Friday 18 December the Gili Eco Trust in conjunction with the Indonesian goverment released over 100 turtles into the wild on Trawangan beach.

To celebrate the completion of the Turtle conservation building on Trawangan beach there was one of the biggest turtle releases ever seen on the islands.

The new building is huge, it has 3 new water tanks under one roof, and a new egg incubator that is penned off from the rest of the beach. The amount of work put into this project has been amazing.
