  • There are many.In a relative order:Brailowsky,Klemperer,Ric­ci,Graffman,Sleczynska,Rubinst­ein,Iturbi,Menuhin,Hepzibah Menuhin,Solti,Van Beinum,van Remoortel,Bernstein,Backhaus,G­ulda,Virsaladze,Bakk,Wild,Jani­gro,Scimone,Accardo,Navarra,Ba­r Ilan,Rogoff,Magaloff,Bolet,Fod­or,Ashkenazy,Crespin,Malcuzyns­ki,Weissenberg,Kentner,Arrau..­and  Valentina Lisitsa.I don´t remember other big names.

  • I has been take dinner with Fournier after his last concert in Buenos Aires (1975).On july 9,1952,Francescatti has been play three concerts at Gran Rex theatre.I have the envelope of the Paganini 1st dedicated to me.What an artists ! Thank you.The sound is very good.

  • For maybe 40 years, my all-time favorite recording of this concerto has been by Francescatti & Fournier with Bruno Walter & the Columbia Symphony. I've never heard this version, but it, too, is wonderful.
