I think we could achieve space travel (possibly to mars if it happened anytime soon) and find some way of surviving in the course of the thousand of years it would take for the earth to become completely inhospitable.

But Australia will still be okay?
And once again, those fukn 0.1%ers take over the planet o.O

@kimbobrand7 The Cretaceous Extinction was caused by a 6 mile (10 km) wide asteroid. I believe this proposed asteroid was 25 miles across, which might have a 60% larger blast radius. The majority of asteroids are around 25 miles wide. Would humanity survive? Good question. We are apex predators, which die off first, but also omnivores. Off the cuff, I don't think we would survive. The real survivors will be the "little guys" that don't eat much, and can reproduce rapidly, and adapt faster.

Well dinos know why they have to run but humans do it rapidly
-
God I hope this happens.
(And I'm pretty sure even if it was this bad, humans would have a good chance of surviving.)

1:29 "99.9% of all things are dead" what about the 0.1%?
-
0:13 "The initial devastation wipes out almost all life within thousands of miles."
