http//:www.shawnclementgolf.com Shawn Clement, Director of the Richmond Hill Golf Learning Centre and top 25 CPGA Teaching Professional as rated by Score Golf Magazine, shows you how to go about getting back into the swing of things after a knee injury to the forward leg like Tiger's.
i disagree. there have been, and are players who straighten there forward leg more aggressively than tiger does. and they have no knee problems. i believe the injury came from an unrelated incident. he'll be back. better than ever
I know he will be back! But he is not the only one to have knee issues related to golf; in my 30 years in this game I have seen many more and Johnny Miller is one of them; there is a reason he struggles today and is no longer competitive...do you have any idea how good he was? He could really go deep! Shawn
i believe that jonny miller is in the group of the best iron players ever, up with hogan and nicklaus. i believe tho, that if you watch some of the long drivers or someone like charles howell or trevor immelman, who have no history of knee injury, they snap their legs to a similar degree to tiger, and the long drivers do it even more!!
Jordan; there are so many more factors here (like genetics and age); The leg snapping back is unnecessary in clearing the body properly out of the way and is usually done in reaction to an out of stack or balanced position in the swing or when the body is not quite fully out of the way and has to be jerked out of the way and lastly, when the backswing is not completed and the player needs to add a thrusting action to get the whipping action...I have so many videos on this subject!
This is great to get up on a Sat. morning with four new videos. Keep up the good work.
