@mtraner2004 Wish i had seen em 100 times m8!! They were the best,they were my life,when i heard they were splitting up,i wanted to curl up and die,instead i raided my mums drinks cupboard which only had a bottle of sherry in it,i drank the whole lot within 10 mins,downing my sorrows,i was as sick as a dog after that,have not touched sherry since that sad day.

currypot you mabe the boy about town and whoever saw em a 100 times (liar) but I would consider myself (along with a milion others) thier number one fan. I dont think I could have got through my teens without The Jam. Was gutted when they split but I sort of got why weller did hated him for it for a while and refused to go to his gigs but I got over it and Ive seen him about 10 times now. Its a tough tough world! CLASS

you're right, i was at that sound check after hanging around the venue for hours. it was almost like a mini gig. The band came out after the show and I got some single sleeves signed. The Jam appreciated their fans.
