Not only that,

I have this whole series on old VHS and Karl Malone threw a gang of elbows and body checks on Jordan and you dont hear about body complaining about that?

To the person wo said that Jordan Travelled at 0:07 sec, i also agree with you, after he bounces the ball Jordan jumps onto his own two feet before shooting, that is clearly a travel, i am shocked to see that i must say. this whole play is just an odd play. it seems that the umpires missed the travel perhaps because it was michael jordan? who knows.

yeah Jordan actually ruined the game , not revolutionized it.

Play it again, everytime i watch this it seems that Russell has run off from Jordan and then Russel realises that Jordan is going for the jumper and has to run back so he trips. this is definitely not a foul but in real-time it does look like a push off.

@JohnnyMarr03

Still thou back then the refs would let them play. A game this huge at this moment they never called little shoves, shuffles of the feet, etc.

When Russell slips over he is well away from Jordan. it seems that the perception is that Jordans hand pushes Russell but really Russell is running towards the basket preparing for the drive, Jordans hand being on Russell is what makes it look like a big push in rea-time, i dont think this is the case.

MaxwellSDSU seems to have it correct, if you slow it down Russell is actually preparing for Jordan to drive and runs towards the basket, he then gets in Jordans way so Jordan puts his hand on him, Russell then realises he has to go the other way and trips up, by that time Jordan is taking the shot. this is all one big misunderstanding. not a push at all.

i didnt notice that before one guy said it but look at jordans feet at 0:07 , that was traveling ! My god what did they do to the game in the 90's becouse of him . Wilt was right , in his time they did everything to stop him and in Jordan's time they did everything to make him more dominant . I will never consider this Jordan's clutch shot as long as his Championship .
