I find it all the more fasinating that her voice changed so drastically. Truly one of a kind.
One word comes to mind regarding Marianne Faithfull: SURVIVOR.

Her voice changed so drastically due to drugs and alcohol. She fell under the sway of that swine Mick Jagger and was too young and naive to keep her head -- or her voice, youth and beauty -- more's the pity.

The set is interesting. In the early 60s, before psychedelia, they often favoured stark, modernist sets like this one. I wonder who designed it.

Pure?? Ha ha you gotta be kiddin'. She was worse than Jagger before he became worse!
The problem with Marianne is that her 'pure' looks mislead the gullible into translating that into pure character.
Not judging, though, coz I'm a fan of her honesty and survival.

Wow, that's a nice song. Interesting how all these early vids with Faithful were shot. There's a long shot (during which you think 'get closer damn it!')and then, bam, an intense ultra-close-up. Something like this pattern is then repeated. The overall effect is obsessive and seems designed to create obsession.
