there is talk at the moment of rebuilding ..but to a smaller scale a new crystal palace in the original grounds....would be a venue to host shows..concerts etc...will be good for the area...

Just spent 2 months there again
seems like things are improving. Closing down the Woolworths made it lose its centre of gravity
They just need another one like that and not another bar or Restaurant.
Woolworths as low scale as they are was like a Anchor to a ship kept it steady and smooth.
But things seem to be getting Historically preserved which is good. Like the Old Cinema hopefully. The Blackbird Bakery is good
and great tasting coffee and cakes.

Yeah in a town called "Crystal Palace" LOL, I think Palace would have been East Norwood, but instead thye named it after the great Palace. I lived here for years, and in the last 5 years it has started going down hill big itme, a real shame.
