-The Obama campaign said in a statement, "Senator Obama is proud of his pastor and his church."

-Mr. Wright, who has long prided himself on criticizing the establishment, said he knew that he may not play well in Mr. Obama's audition for the ultimate establishment job.
"If Barack gets past the primary, he might have to publicly distance himself from me," Mr. Wright said with a shrug. "I said it to Barack personally, and he said yeah, that might have to happen."

-"If you want to understand where Barack gets his feeling and rhetoric from," says the Rev. Jim Wallis, a leader of the religious left, "just look at Jeremiah Wright."

-Obama has said valuing Wright's "day-to-day political advice"

-In 2006 Obama & wife gave $60,307 to charity and the largest single amount of that was to Trinity United Church of Christ for $22,500

@xxspadyxx123 Let me clarify things. If a black person would have to work twicw as hard as a white person, than just based on race a white person would have to work the same, or 1 times as hard. Obama then would have to work 1.5 times as hard, since that's in between 1, and 2.

@lewgf1 actually it would be 1.0, or you can just say 1/2 times since Obama was half white. 1.5 would be half of 3 times as hard, not twice as hard. Guessing math wasn't your strong subject since you couldn't even get simple things like that right. Jesus is black? He was from the meditteranean, as we know he would have had tan skin unless, Mr Wright's Jesus is from lets say Ghana. Then maybe it makes sense to him.
