Oroville High School Wrestling demonstrated by Senior Captain CHRIS DAVID 2000. Before he became a star in MMA and possibly the most recognized pioneers of the sport he had become crafty in other combative arts like here in collegiate (folk style) wrestling.
Teammates, Brandon Povio and Todd Gaylord are sought. Shawn Bias, Josh Hinkle, Alijah Reni all wrestled with Chris David this Year. Otown, must be the water. Well structured video that breaks down moves in an informative and entertaining way. It might as well just be called a clinic. Don't watch this now if you haven't the time, care or knowledge to. I put the more advanced and interesting moves towards the end for these viewers. If you are a "click and glancer" than just carry-on. This is the real shit...foundation for my fighting style...key to understanding certain concepts...entertaining for MMA fans with little wrestling background.

  • This ass wrestling ohio is where its at when it comes to high school wrestling just saying

  • @dulaney1124 Sorry, don't wrestle anymore. I only do MMA. You have someone there for me?

  • My middle school days I used the whip and half Nelson. Now I'm in high school I use the near side cradle, anda konda, crossface cradle, half nelson, power half, arm bar, all American, head locks, and cupped scoops!!!!!!!!!!! The advanced shit sucks just be simple then you win

  • @steinerkids No argument there.

  • This shit is stupid what wins wrestling matches is the simple stuff arm bars, crossface cradles, half nelsons thats what wins you big time!!

  • @0000nmbr0 It is true that your basic moves are what will take you far in wrestling. And furthermore, when the basics are demonstrated the best two individuals can perform then athletic ability, strength and endurance will prevail, but as all sports, for the spectator, such un-commonplace moves are appreciated. I only took fourth in a section that at the time took 1 person to CA state, so by no means was this video a ticket to success, just simply what it is labeled.

  • @ddpw4 ahh, very nice. you truly are a good wrestler, but how did you pull off a move like that?? what led to it??

  • @Sam10830 yes I have. Its a very unique move you rarely see it pulled off in matches usually people just worry bout the takedowns and points or pins but I just simply go for whatever I have to do and I cant ever back down..
