Under a new biological opinion released today in Washington, 330,000 acre feet of water will be taken from California residents and farmers. The decision is premised on the belief that the operation of both the federal and state water projects are contributing to the possible extinction of salmon, sturgeon, southern resident killer whale, and steelhead.

  • why can I only find stuff like this on youtube? and not the main stream media? my news channel runs the same story's for a week or two sometimes? the only news I watch anymore is the weather and 45-50% of the time it's wrong? news lol, I'm gonna get one of them worms that can predict weather.

  • The terrorist are in the whitehouse and their called democrats

  • Madam Speaker! Pelosi is from California and she does not give a rats ass if 40,000 jobs are lost, food prices escalating. Her actions are appalling!

  • Need to get the photos of the Man-Caused Disaster into the media just like people did at Katrina.

    Show the Human Cost.

    Show the distruction.

Ask for donations from Americans. Where are those Hollywood types to save the Farms? Get a spokesperson.

Democrats and their envirowackos want to be on the hook for this, then let them. We have their voites and their words, use them.

    TURN THE WATER ON

Later, we can discuss cleaning or whatever but turn on the pumps NOW. God help us.

  • According to Rahm Emanuel: "Never allow a crisis to go to waste. They are opportunities to do big things." You know what? In a way he is right! While he refers to expanding the role of government in our lives as the means to solving national problems, I take this as a call to "We the People" to unite and once again take control...of our lives, our responsibilities, and our Country.

  • I never said they were but in sarcasm, little fish I call sardines in the ridiculousness of the choice between human life or them.

Its just like if someone imported aligators to PA and stuck them in a lake during a drought, cutting off PA citizens water for food to save the aligators when they dont belong there, if enviromentalists care MOVE THE DAMN FISH! lol Set up a sanctuary for them by selling their homes and communities but dont expect others to be willing to die for them

  • first the Smelt are NOT sardines, then they are NOT the natural food of the Killer whale.

the smelt are a nonnative species that have been imported, just like the Stripper or white bass.

  • Its immoral to depopulate whales or sardines but perfectly acceptable to depopulate (or murder is more like it) people.

Hey tetrasin California is where the U.S gets 1/6th of its food nationally, if you put saving a sardine over the food the people eat they will eat the damn fish in the end and it will accomplish nothing lol
