are the guys really annoying to put together because only one person has been bitching about putting them together, but he seems like he knows what he is talking about. beast of war has built them, but didnt say anything in the way of time or difficulty with building them. i like egyptiants since they look like zombies. are they hard to build

No, not at all. You do have to put them together, but they are fairly easy. It's not 'board game' easy, but they aren't difficult.

They have Tim's in the States too!
But I have to disagree with your rating of Tim's ;)
I drink my coffee black and Tim's is average at best :D

Yep, my wife and I have searched for Tim's in the states. I imagine Tim's in the states is like Dunkin Donuts in Quebec, lack luster.
