HURRICAN GUSTAV BUS CONVOY ON I-10

I caught up to this convoy I assumed was on its way to LA for possible evacuees from the hurricane.
I commented in the video that I thought there were about 50 buses but the actual count was 30. I was also cut off in the video, and what I wanted to say there was that I sure hoped the people from LA appreciated the help they got this time around more than they did when Katrina hit them.But rumor has it allot of them didn't. They complained about the accommodations and the food in many areas. I swear SOME PEOPLE THINK THE WHOLE WORLD OWES THEM! You didn't see any bus conveys or truck loads of food being sent to the Midwest during their recent disastrous floods. But if they had been given the same treatment you can rest assure they would've graciously been grateful for it!!

Yea, it was purty cool that they acknowledged that I was videoing THEM; and they probably knew why too. Who knew just a very short time later "I" would be evacuated due to Hurricane Ike. Didn't get any footage of that. It was way minor here compared to those on Galveston Island just 45 miles away. 30% of Houston is STILL without power and they they were still tremendously lucky compared to SO MANY on the island. My heart goes out to them all.

I've been in these convoys an let me tell you people aren't greatfull for us drivers., Done gustov ., an IKE. Don't care for Them..
