  • i do not know if it is still used. but the old lathe in my factory, use this system to change the tools. it is not a cnc, but a fully mechanical machine, which is controlled with some kind of camshaft.

  • Its used in the projector to feed the film in front of the shutter. Pauses the frame while the shutter opens and closes and then advance to next frame. Pretty cool.

  • Yes, it can be a gear of 16mm-projector!

  • Yea, I have one similar to that here in my table from one 16mm projector :)
