Animal Testing by Mars candy company

Got a sweet tooth? Think twice before picking up a Mars candy bar! You should know that candymaker Mars, Inc.—creator of M&M's, Snickers, Twix, Dove, Three Musketeers, Starburst, Skittles, and other candies—funds deadly animal tests, even though there are more reliable human studies and not one of the tests is required by law.

Mars is currently funding a deadly experiment on rats to determine the effects of chocolate ingredients on their blood vessels. Experimenters force-feed the rats by shoving plastic tubes down their throats and then cut open the rats' legs to expose an artery, which is clamped shut to block blood flow. After the experiment, the animals are killed. Mars has also funded cruel experiments in which mice were fed a candy ingredient and forced to swim in a pool of a water mixed with white paint. The mice had to find a hidden platform to avoid drowning, only to be killed and dissected later on. In yet another experiment supported by Mars, rats were fed cocoa and anesthetized with carbon dioxide so that their blood could be collected by injecting a needle directly into their hearts, which can lead to internal bleeding and other deadly complications.

@PhoebeLuvzTheAnimals This is why you should not believe what a single person tells you. It is reasonable for you to doubt even what I am telling you. But I can direct you to these papers. Let you read them yourself. See how it was done. Then, and only then can you form an educated opinion on a matter and not a mere Opinion. I hope even this opens your eyes to how anyone can be wrong. And get you to think for yourself and study things you question.

yeah, people die because of their treatment, not because of their illness. Are you from opposite land? where everything is the exact opposite of reality. One day you will need medication. @PhoebeLuvzTheAnimals I looked into the topic. Saw that several groups came to similer conclusions, Had the avenue for me. To request all information and study it myself (but requireing the nessicary facilities to store their samples which I don't but still option is there if I doubt). And you boil it down to "One person told me". Phoebe, I am not stating an opinion I am stating a fact. I and they could be wrong. Unlikly it is possible. (ok a third)

@PhoebeLuvzTheAnimals You are mistaken. This isn't a matter of opinion. This isn't a matter of who thinks who is right. This is a matter of Right vs Wrong. There is no opinion. If your bio teacher told you this. Then they are grossly wrong. Having two degrees does not make one immune to mistakes, or to being wrong. When you mentioned it. I looked into. I have a love of bio and know alot. But no where near enough as the experts who I read into. More than one. (2nd inc)

I don't take medication anyway because I don't need it - my diet has built up my immune system a lot! u do know that cancer treatments can make u much more ill than u already are... i know someone who had lung cancer and they died because of their treatment.
