  • what is the porpouse of decanting?

  • 3 Reasons: to separate the wine from any sediment in the bottle.

Let a wine breath and to also bring it to temperature from the cooler cellar.

  • @mlsprovideos I like wine, I even like some real expensive ones. But I hate being "served" wine, especially like this. Fuck that shit! :)

  • @chechnya You don't need to be in the 1% to be able to have great wine. :)

  • @pizzlemank NO ,If they know the reason why (to double check the condition of the wine). YES, if he is greedy and does not want to waste an expensive sip of wine with the sommelier.

  • This is what the 1% is doing with the money from the 99% while we all struggle to survive.

  • FUCK that. Even if bowing to the ubersnobs guarantees that I'll get my "foot in" to their world, I'd probably shoot myself once I get there. :P

  • @mlsprovideos don't forget you have to know the tast of wine and knowledge about the wine, thats take alot of practise.

  • You get in a suit, walk clockwise, use a tray to transfer items, you light a candle, check your stuff before you leave your station, cradle, wine, candle, decanter, 2 coasters, service cloth, present the wine, repeat producer, name and vintage. Label facing down in the cellar, so you must never turn it back up. Cut the foil, wipe the lip. Never look up, never stop pouring. Looks like aminimum wage job to me. Serving bankers, attorneys, retired U.S. Marshals and FBI agents. Silly job

  • Well done!

  • Awesome job!!

  • WOW, such an exaggerated process.
