  • what the hell is that?? im in Afghanistan, we dont run eney thing less than a max-pro, my Co is sighnd for 4 M-ATV we dont dear take thAt out the gate.. i have seen a m-atv git it from a 200lb IED and turn in to scrap... what the hell is this thing going to do better.. do us all a favor and park it over a 200lb bomb and see how it dose next to the m-atv. that a max-pro, and see what one you can git in and drive off............

  • @dav022001 Have you tried looking beyond the tip of your nose, sir? The J-LTV is meant to replace the HUMVEE. What's America going to do with all MRAP's when you leave Iraq and Afghanistan? The MAX-PRO has a dreadful fuel consumption, it costs a lot in maintenance, it is huge and it's not as easy to transport. The J-LTV's give much better protection than a HUMVEE and they can, unlike the MRAP's be an asset for the US Armed Forces after the return from the middle east in other operations.
