I grew up on the westside of Milwaukee and remember this beer all over teh place but it always had to go up against Miller, Pabst, and Schlitz. The brewery was on the eastside south of Brewers Hill. They turned the old Blatz brewery into condos...I tried it years ago...it wasn't that good. I seemed to rememeber the Polish folks were big Blatz drinkers..

@vomit49894 I haven't seen Blatz Light but I'll post on Schlitz' Facebook page and ask about it. I can get Blatz by the bottle in 24 pack cases here, I much prefer it in the bottle.

@Hellcat2800 Indeed they do make Blatz Light aka BLIGHT...wondrous stuff, indeed. And I love the Schlitz 60s formula. Good stuff. Glad you appreciate the finer things in life!

@vomit49894 They makes Blatz LIGHT? I'll either drink Blatz or Schlitz, depending on my mood..Sometimes I gotta have the GUSTO of Schlitz..But I've never seen either in a LIGHT version.
BTW, I don't mean the foul tasting malt liquor when I say Schlitz, I mean the original 60's formula BEER.
