The fine taste of the King Salmon, fresh from today's catch is like no other fish. All the fishermen onboard know and the action gets a little frantic when it is time to land the beautiful fish.

The waters off the coast of Northern California have been rich in the Salmon that gourmets love and that supplies valuable nutrition for the body.

As a fished is hooked shouts of "fish on" are heard and the chaos of landing it often involve the skipper, mate and other fishermen. With more than one fish online at a time the action is fast and furious.

When the limit of 2 fish per person the boat heads back to the harbor early "limited out" and full of happy people. The coast is beautiful and the sea mercifully and unusually calm.

  • its not slaughtering, it's called harvesting. Each person you saw catching fish bought a fishing licence and is restricted to their catch limit for that day. The owner / operator of the boat you see in the video makes his living by selling an experience. It cost each person on that boat over $100.00 plus the cost of a fishing licence so if you do some math, you will see that each person paid about $30.00 a pound for their fish... Sorry, that is not a slaughter.

  • Small salmon not 1over 15 pounds kinda sad plus let some go would ya plz

  • My pet peeves are when outsiders want to put San Francisco into "Central California" and endangered species are harvested for sport. Catch and release people! Have we not learned anything?

  • @justeglio1 well excuse you piss off then asshole

  • I recently went aboard the El Dorado for some salmon. Had a blast. They rigged their anchovies the same way as in 0:42 (secs) into the video. Anyone know how to rig them like this? They used a hook with a twisted wire. The wire was used to create a bend in the anchovy for some action.

  • Why are those salmon like kinda small

  • 2 reasons why i dont like this video. 1: you are using level winders. 2: the fish that you are catching are all extremely small, the biggest being smaller than 10 pounds.

  • dude thats just cruel they look over a pund you will hardly get any meat of that

    your sick man sick

  • Beatiful :)

  • @lukebccb it kinda is in the northern but you can still say its in the central cause i only live like 1 and a half away from san fran

  • @theultamatevideofly: while technically - and factually - San Francisco is in Central CA., everyone refers to San Francisco as being in "Northern CA."
