This is a TV commercial for Nickelodeon's "SpongeBob Squarepants" show. The original music is performed by "Violent Femmes" (famous for "Blister in the Sun") - By MindSmack TV
It would be so cool if Violent Femmes did a rendition of their song Add it up and replace the lyrics with something spongebob related. ADD IT UP, ADD IT UP, ADD IT UP, ADD IT UP!!!!! lol :)
@junior1134 I imagine- and HOPE TO GOD- they got paid enough to retire with. I know there comes a time when all bands sell-out to an advertiser, but damn. I would like to think they lost a bet or they are trying to reach out to a dying nephew who loves SpongeBob...... if they don't do this, you will start to see them perform at state fairs and your local Indian casinos. Or could it be a gambling debt?

Someone has a really sick sense of humor hiring the Femmes for this and they have a sick sense of humor for having accepted.
