I don't get it. So many people don't believe in Psychics and say that science has never proven their credibility, yet go to church on Sunday and worship someone who has not been scientifically proven to exist. You cannot set a double-standard. And yes, some people can see the dead. I have a friend that can, and she hates it.

@Cinqmil I do not see how cold and warm reading can explain all of her hits and readings. Perhaps you can show me how she is doing this. Just because cold and warm reading exist does not necessarily mean that all psychic mediums are utilising these methods to get their results. In this case of Lisa Williams this is obvious to me, but if you want to demonstrate how she is doing this then be my guest.

@endofscene Because what she claims, she does is already debunked and can be explained by cold reading and warm reading. Sometimes people have a knack for coldreading without realising that they are doing it. If LW is like this, then she herself believes in her abilities (and is therefore delusional which might be forgiven). If LW knows what she does, she is a fraud. Basically, making people believe BS is immoral!

@Cinqmil How can you be sure you know the truth? Just because you have not experienced something for yourself, or do not want to be open to the possibility, doesn't mean there is no such thing. Do some research on the subject. Look up the SPR and Leonore Piper.
