Anime Matsuri skit - Dissidia

Twinzik Presents, "Final Fantasy: Dissidia" @ Anime Matsuri 2010.

In short: While searching for their crystals, Bartz, Zidane, and Squall stumble upon Ultimecia's clocktower. The sorceress encounters them in battle and nearly wins before help from Cosmos, the Goddess of Harmony, sweeps in to save the day. Happy ending, cue Fanfare music, etc etc.

Despite having to rush costumes (some of which were still not fully completed), props, audio, and practice time, we managed to get everything together enough to perform on Saturday night at Anime Matsuri. We can't say thank you enough to everyone, friends and family, who helped us make this possible. Even with our messups (Liiike Ultimecia's headdress nearly falling off when she gets pwned. *Hee-Hee facepalms*), we managed to win Best in Show, which we all were so excited and grateful for!

We dedicated this skit to our grandfather, who passed away the previous Sunday, and would not have had the strength to even attend the convention if it were not for our family who made the trek up there with us.

@MsMonth4 Glad you like it! We actually don't plan on doing another Dissidia skit, especially with these same costumes. When you win a Best of Show, it's not really fair for others to enter it in a contest again. Thank you though! We'll still be doing many skits in the future. =]

Honestly one of the best skit's I've ever seen!

By the way: is the "Aren't you forgetting something?" line a tribute to "the battle you never saw"?

I love this skit so much! You keep everyone in character and keep up the whole plot of the game! BUHFBUYERWFEWR- I'll never make a skit like that XD Mainly because I've got to be Squall before anybody else and I'd just burst out giggling XD
