wow.why would merideth just sit there and watch her cry. i mean if it was a total stranger i would even go say.. "hey are you okay" but its her SISTER..go hug her or something. Chyler Leigh did amazing in this scene. :))

@15kmath0 True. At the same time, Meredith has always been a complex character. I don't think she truly knows how to comfort anybody, let alone herself...so, in a sense, I guess she's staying true to how they've written her. Though, I'd love for them to explore Meredith/Lexie's relationship more. It was a short lived storyline.

This was incredibly real. Probably the most purest pieces of acting in Grey's Anatomy. It seems so effortless, and real and so true of a preformance i've ever seen.

Especially that 'oh' she makes. The one in response to the pain.

LEXIE was great in this scene.

Meredith; as much at first where i was like ??? hug her, i now see maybe she was staying true to her character. And i do think she loves Lexie as a sister. I just think she needs to do something to prove it.

@reallysophie exactly...I think it's the way she was raised cause I don't think her mom was that affectionate with her growing up so she would be the same way to some extent with others

I can honestly say that I have never felt so much sadness when watching a character cry like I do when Lexie cries... It's so beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time, and this scene is just breathtaking.
