certo che la sicurezza una volta era un optional...con tutti quei guard-rail cosi vicini a bordo strada... possibile che a nessuno veniva in mente che sarebbero morti tutti quei piloti...sia in F1 che nel Motomondiale...???

@DRAYPRESCOTT58 You are working off 2011 safety standards and medical practice. In 1974 the idea was to get him out of harms way. btw the guy in the shorts was possibly a marshall, all the guys in the red shirts were. Its not like today where you have onsite marshalls in full fire suits

@Trulyloyale It was Arturo Merzario plus Brett Lunger, Harald Ertl and Guy Edwards that got Lauda out. It wasn't that tthe marshalls were scared either its just there wasn't any around at Bergwerk.
