After 23yrs, I'm still stunned apon rewiewing some of these scenes. Scutters'

blackmail attempt becomes something beautiful when it is made clear it isn't

for money! The young man patheticaly but sweetly reveals that he is desperate

to "share" with Maurice for one last time.Rupert Graves beautiful emoted passion,

and that of a young man in love! I remember being a young man in my late 20's

when I saw this and this scene made my heart race, it still does!

this is very sweet & prety, but unrealistic. Not saying it cannot hapen, but the most normal would be that Scutter would blackmail Maurice for the rest of his life & ruin it

the tea party and the christian right are stirring up so much anti-gay crap - its an embarrassment to America - they call themselves patriots and all that right wing 1950's crap but they are actually just such a disgace to their country

they make America look like its going backwards and not forwards
