@iGolftv Do you play oversize 580 grips? And is 6 degrees of bounce not enough on my 60* wedge for a bunker shot? If the sand is firm I think it is enough because I can get the ball out. But what about fluffly sand?

@iGolftv I wish AK would start making more berdies. I hated that the last Chevron Tourney last weekend where G. Mac beat Tiger, he was over par. So of course we didn't get to see much of him. I'm a mid-handicapper, but thats only because I'm in College. Lol. I've been playing for almost 2 years and just switched from my chunky-high launching 710 Ap1s to the Nike VR split-cavities. And all I can say is wow these irons look sooo much better. I actually got them yesterday and haven't hit them yet.

@JAKEHARRIS281 Hey Jake yeah your spot on AK is definitely a natural soft player with all his shots and especially in his short game. Hows your game?? dm

@iGolftv What do you think causes a heel shot miss hit with an iron if im not standing too close to the ball? and also a toe shot?

@JAKEHARRIS281 Hey Jake how are you man thanks for the questions.OK down to business !!
It not necessarily an issue you have because you are to close or to far away,it relates back to balance & then to rhythm & tempo.
Make sure u are as solid as possible with the ground at impact, work on gripping the ground with you feet through your backswing and then releasing that right foot on the down swing into a solid left side.
Great players generally have great balance, final thing hold your finish

@iGolftv I just got my VR splits and played with them twice already. They dont feel as hot off the face as the Ap2s. It may be just me but I lost some distance. Also have you ever hit a round putter?
JAKEHARRIS281 1 year ago
@JAKEHARRIS281 Yeah i like mallet putters, they tend to give a larger sweet spot which can help consistency on distance control. Choosing the right putter is like choosing the right ice cream, we all kinda like something different!! But my advice is to get something that sits flat on the ground with the face square.
