In this video you will learn how you can make a simple fabric bag for your every day shopping needs.

The fabric I used for the bag was some left over fabric from my Uni projects. If you dont have fabric lying about you can just as easily use some old jeans or any old fabric lying around your home.

Bag sizeing

Bace piece:
30cm-8cm add on a 1cm seem alouance

main bag pannel (front & Back):
hight- 35cm and width -30cm add on the side panel 8cm by 35 and add on a 1cm seem alouance.

This bag should only take you approximatly 2 hours to construct.

  • Very nice! Perfect. I have made several bags and did not know how to make the flat bottom. I just tucked the fabric in. Love the style. Can't wait to make a few with my scrap walk in closet.
