  • Thank you for making this video. I am planning on completing my transition at work this year and your video was quite inspiring. Paige

  • you are working for a wonderful company - these are bloody rare!! You must be really important to this organisation!

  • Hi Emma, you're lucky you had such a positive coming out experience at work. Mine wasn't so overwhelming supportive. It's been about a year now full time at my job and I finally got HR to agree to change my name in email, ID, etc... only after I did a legal name change. Although many ppl at work were supportive, I lost many friends and still feel ostracized by many co-workers. My advice to other trans is to change jobs if you can, it's soo much better to start fresh.

    Hugs,

    Michelle

  • I seen a dog at my sons 1k run... kindergartener :) and the dogs name was pockets I thought was the cutest name ever!!!

  • very pretty

  • Amazing emma!

  • I am so glad that it well well coming out at work can be a scary moment. I came out at work in May and had a similar experience. HR was awesome, my coworkers were great and had no trouble with names and pronouns. On my first day I was so nervous but I came in and was greeted with a pile of emails stating how brave and happy they were for me. In hindsight I don't really know what I was so scared about.

  • Thanks for sharing, I am happy for you that coming out as Emma at work went so well - astonishing as seen from my viewpoint here.
