Have officially come out at work as Emma. I am now fulltime me!!! YAYAYAYAY!!! I get to be me all the time! Its scary being transgender, but rewarding when you finally get to be yourself!
Emma I have to ask this but how could they not know you were tg ? When i see you here ,you could not possiby be a guy as you are to beautiful! how could they not see you Emma? I am so happy your coming out went well and i wish you all the best ! take care and Happy New Year! hugs Jenny
Hi Emma, you're lucky you had such a positive coming out experience at work. Mine wasn't so overwhelming supportive. It's been about a year now full time at my job and I finally got HR to agree to change my name in email, ID, etc... only after I did a legal name change. Although many ppl at work were supportive, I lost many friends and still feel ostracized by many co-workers. My advice to other trans is to change jobs if you can, it's soo much better to start fresh.
I am so glad that it well well coming out at work can be a scary moment. I came out at work in May and had a similar experience. HR was awesome, my coworkers were great and had no trouble with names and pronouns. On my first day I was so nervous but I came in and was greeted with a pile of emails stating how brave and happy they were for me. In hindsight I don't really know what I was so scared about.
You are very pretty
