Phideaux - Snowtorch (Part One) - Part 1 [Star of Light, Retrograde, Fox on the Rocks]

This is Phideaux Xavier in his new album, Snowtorch.

So this is the first part that I had to divide the track into. This covers three sections of the suite; "Star Of Light", "Retrograde", and "Fox on the Rocks". What isn't included in this video is the final part of part 1 of Snowtorch, which is "Celestine", the instrumental that ends Snowtorch Part One. "Celestine" will be covered in the next video, and the entire album will be uploaded. :)

FOX ON THE ROCKS

When is a fox not a fox?
When it hides in the rocks and prepares to reveal itself
Dropping the guise to expose
That it knows what you don't want to show

Like we really could save ourselves
What if I said that the world doesn't end in the end
But continues to mend itself
How can you count the amount
Of a mountain that sprouts

How is this not more popular? I was searching for new bands on prog archive and looked at the top100 albums of 2011... the cover made me curious, and I fell in love with this amazing band. This is as good as it can get...

Phideaux does it again. I wasn't a big fan of Seven, but LOVED Doomsday Afternoon, and this is on the right track for sure. I've listened to this song 2x now, and I'm already hooked.
