@coolmint191 that spices comment really does let you down im afraid, if you had actually tried any of our food you would easily have known that curry is just as popular as fish an chips or a sunday roast. i dont think i know a single person from these isles who dosent know how to make a slap up good chicken tika. as a matter of fact its been around here longer than the time span of the US!! it was first mentioned in a british cook book in 1747.

@conradmilligan Why is it that whenever a Britt gets butthurt on the internet they always retort with some unfunny slight against America? British food is world-renowned for being extremely bland and boring, and you haven't learned to accept that yet? When you lived in the states i'm sure you found that there were more spices and flavor in the ground beef at taco bell than you'd find in an entire 3-course dinner in the UK.

@Conchobhar we boil our food until the flavors gone..... wow! thats not only a stereotype, but a really old one. if your going to try and make a smug toffee nosed comment like that, at least try and back it up with some proper knowledge and not hearsay you probably heard on a episode of friends.

better yet! actually try some british cuisine, i think you might find something like a beef wellington quite tasty.
