At the risk of holding the world's youtube record for ktichen girl on banjo, this is where I am with it now, after having studied with Dwight Diller and then having a few weeks to think about and try to apply what I learned from him in my own way...just to compare with what I was doing with it before. I promise, no more kitchen girls... until the new banjo comes in August, then... well, who knows?

is there a chance you could upload a video showing the right hand when playing the b part I listen to your video and try and dissect the fingering in the b part but its difficult with your hand moving so fast It is the best version period

@fralin1966 I'm unclear whether you meant a close up of the noting hand or the thumping hand. For the past couple of years I haven't had much chance to get any new stuff up on youtube, but I do need to try to get back to it again, so maybe a close-up Kitchen Girl will be a motivator for me to try to find the time to get back to it.

I figured it out you are tuned sharp I started out with a true d sharp and can play along now

@fralin1966 Hi, sorry, I tried to answer the other question and somehow it didn't end up showing on the page.. but I guess you did figure it out afterall. I am tuned gDGBD, although Kitchen Girl is modal (I think Mixolydian) but plays well out of standard G tuning. I tune back and forth so much it could be I ended up tuned sharp...

The left hand fingering I have the A part down pretty good its the B part where the hammer ons come into play that i'm having trouble I would encourage you to post more videos I enjoy them very much .You have been a great help in my playing Thank you
