Stephen Martin of Hull provides assistance to the Lakota Indians of Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota, through Lakota Kidz. Stephen was a member of the band Orpheus, and is now a member of Orpheus Reformed.

How shameful, that the US Gov allows these beautiful people to live in these horrible conditions, yet they give themselves 'bonuses' with tax payers money? Can you imagine what a million bucks would do to help these people?Why does the US Gov ignore this? They get all up in other countries business, but turn a blind eye to Americas true people?

@nstbz : I don't understand. I understand the hatred for the white people, I truly do. The quality of life for those people is at the very least concerning. From the depths of my soul I want to go and help empower the people to be the strong and just as cultural as they were before the invasion. Chief Sitting Bull was very proud and he fought very hard for his people. I wonder what he would do if he were alive and saw the oppression that has taken over the Pine Ridge Rez. I just want to help!

I am headed to Pine Ridge in July to run a natural building workshop teaching how to build homes from natural materials and waste materials, the house will be made from pallets and in filled with light straw clay an earthen plaster will be applied on the interior and exterior of the home, i build these type of houses where I live in Texas, I am looking for volunteers, and I am taking 8 apprentices to learn this method of home building, for more info click my name and go to my website, see you!!

@AlShaddai I agree, the Senators love to court the votes. Then, like all the other's when they get into office they seem to just forget about them. Maybe, they also find out they really didn't know the problems and can't find any solutions to start with. Probably a very big mess!
