Tarantula 2006

This video features a tarantula I spotted while hiking near Trona in the northern Mojave desert. As usual, I wrote and performed a little song to go with the video. (This video was originally posted on my old channel in October of 2006. I reformatted it for this channel.)

When I'm out hiking I sometimes come across a tarantula (most often in October for some reason) and when I do I get a little video of it. I do the same thing with snakes. If I get good footage I try to write a song and then post the result on YouTube.

They usually move quite slowly and deliberately when I've seen them, but I'm sure they can move faster when they want to!
