Baleal, "a mais linda praia da terra portuguesa"?

"Vou primeiro ao Baleal, que é a mais linda praia da terra portuguesa", escreveu um dia Raúl Brandão. Hoje, o cenário é outro: lixo e carros, muitos carros.
Uma das mais bonitas praias de Portugal está ao abandono.

Baleal is a tiny island located North of Peniche. With paradisiacal beaches and breathtaking landscapes, it's considered one of the best places in Europe to practice and learn surfing. In 1919, the poet Raul Brandão wrote: "Baleal, the most beautiful beach in the Portuguese land". But since 1919, a lot of things have changed and Baleal is now far from the paradise it once was.
If Raul Brandão visited Baleal today, we would find an island filled with garbage, without a single trash can other than overflowing containers. He would find streets with broken bottles. He would find unfinished works.
And he would find cars, lots of cars. Cars parked chaotically, even where it's illegal. Cars blocking streets and door houses. Cars that, in emergency situations, would be in the way of fire trucks. Cars that take more than an hour to leave.
In this state of things, everyone loses. Baleal could be the most beautiful beach of the Portuguese land. But today is just in anarchy. Until when?

eu que sou da terra a proibiçao automovel seria a primeira coisa a ser feita pagar multa pelo lixo que fosse feito pelos turistas deitado no chão para no minimo volta-se ao que era aos anos atras atravessar a praia a pé para se chegar a ilha e visitar o que nela ainda sobra estão a destruir todo agora com a chegada do surf pior não ha rei nem rock
