Ironically my favorite book was halo evolutions, were Eric Nylund wrote the only story I didn't like.

All my best video game memories are playing Halo. Especially Combat Evolved since I got it when it first launched and it was fresh and beautiful and there was no game out that was as compelling. The music is half the experience, so thank you Marty, thank you Joseph, thank you Jason,7hank you Bungie team.

Eric Nylund is such a great writer. "Halo: The Flood" was complete crap, and it was the only one Nylund didn't write.
I will be reading this guy's books for the rest of my life. I hope he continues to write.
