This is the original Junior Shag Dance Team competing for the very first time as a team at the 2008 US Open Swing Dance Championships. Choreography by Autumn Jones and Brennar Goree.

WOW! Go Junior Shaggers! These 12 Young Shag Dancers (Ages 13-18) span from Virginia to South Carolina, yet with hard work, dedication and love for Shag Dancing they did it! They wanted to share their youthful style of Shag with the West Coast Swing Team! Team captains Brennar Goree and Autumn Jones (both only 18) choreographed and coached this team! I'm so proud of all of you! Your Head Cheerleader!
